I am a licensed and board certified social worker with over 30 years experience working with individuals, couples, and families in teaching hospitals and private practice. On staff of Mount Sinai Beth Israel for over 20 years I provided therapy, taught, and supervised psychiatry residents and social work staff in my role as a senior social worker.
In addition to my Master’s Degree from Yeshiva University, I have advanced training in a variety of techniques including family therapy from the Ackerman Institute for Family Therapy and from the New York State Department of Mental Health.

My areas of specialty include helping parents improve their relationships with their children (such as parenting skills training,) adjustment disorders, coping with medical illness, relationship and dating issues, pre-marital, marital, anxiety, depression, school and behavior problems, ADHD, trauma, loss and other life stage issues.
In addition to self-paying clients, I am in-network with Aetna, and submit to indemnity plans.
